How long is the cable car ride ?

The cable car ride takes approximately 30 minutes to reach Aiguille du Midi.

Should I book my tickets in advance ?

The round-trip Panoramic Mont Blanc ticket is not available for online purchase (rates by clicking here).
It can be bought directly at the ticket office on the day of your visit, as the operation is subject to weather conditions.

Are there any age or health restrictions ?

Children under 3 years old are not allowed. It is also not recommended for children under 5 years old to take the cable car (including the Aiguille du Midi cable car).
Individuals with pre-existing health conditions or difficulties breathing at high altitudes should consult a doctor before going up.

Is the cable car accessible for people with reduced mobility ?

No, there are constraints for evacuation in case of technical or weather conditions.

Is it included in the MONT BLANC MultiPass ?

No, the cable car is not included.
